Code of Conduct
  • Treat teammates, coaches, opponents, umpires, and spectators with respect at all times.
  • No bullying, teasing, or harassment will be tolerated.
  • Listen to coaches and follow their instructions respectfully.
  • Play fair and follow the rules of the game.
  • Win with humility and lose with grace.
  • Shake hands with opponents after the game, regardless of the outcome.
  • Support and encourage your teammates on and off the field.
  • Work together as a team; baseball is a team sport.
  • Attend all practices and games on time, ready to participate.
  • Always use proper equipment and wear it correctly.
  • Follow all safety guidelines during practices and games.
  • Report any injuries or unsafe conditions to the coach immediately.
  • Attend all team practices, meetings, and games unless excused by the coach.
  • RSVP for all team events in GameChanger and update status if your plans change.
  • Give 100% effort in practice and games.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and work on improving skills.
  • Take care of team equipment and facilities.
  • Clean up after yourself and help keep the dugout and field tidy.
  • Be responsible for your behavior both on and off the field, as you represent the team at all times.
  • Strive to maintain reasonable grades at school, as academic performance is important to your personal development.
  • Communicate openly and honestly with coaches, teammates, and parents.
  • If you have a concern or issue, bring it up in a respectful manner.
  • Encourage positive communication among teammates.
  • Understand and appreciate the rules, history, and spirit of baseball.
  • Play for the love of the game, not just for winning.
  • Respect the decisions made by umpires and officials.
  • Parents are encouraged to support the team positively and refrain from negative comments or actions during games.
  • Parents should communicate any concerns with the coach privately and respectfully.
  • Parental support in transportation, equipment, and team activities is greatly appreciated.
  • Any form of unsportsmanlike conduct, including taunting, trash-talking, or aggressive behavior, is strictly prohibited.
  • Players who engage in such behavior will face appropriate consequences as determined by the board.
  • Consequences could range from being suspended from team activities to being asked to leave the team.
